The Homescool Camp 2010 (Rosebud's First Holiday)

Every year our homeschool group has a camp for 3 days and this year Rosebud got to join in the fun for the first time.

It was so incredibly hot!  When we arrived there it was 36.5 degrees and the entire three days we were covered in sweat.  At one stage I had rosebud lying in her carry cot playing with a cool washcloth while the others were out swimming in the river.  But despite the heat we all had a marvelous time!

Sitting

Rosebud is sitting unsupported for longer everyday now.  I took this pic about 2 weeks ago when she was sitting for a few seconds at a time but this afternoon she sat for close to a minute :)

Taggie

I sewed a Taggie (a little blanky with ribbon tags on) for Jane.  So I let her discover it for herself.

And then Daddy put it on as a hat to see if she would get it off by herself (which she did)...

Summer is here...

Phew it's been SO INCREDIBLY HOT lately!  We open all the windows and doors up early morning for the coolish air to come in but by mid morning we close everything up and put the fan on.  Late afternoon we venture outside when the cooler evening air starts to appear.  Jane just LOVES being outside and watching her big brother play.  Soon she'll be playing with him :) She thinks he's the funniest brother and her hero!

5 months old today...
